- Since the classes split into three different classes over a decade ago, the most sub 15:00 performances in a 3A race was set at the 2010 State Championship where 43 runners broke the barrier... this year 45 runners broke 15:00!!! Overall, across classifications, there were 52 runners who got under the watershed mark. 

Interesting factoid about @JoshMethner state win this weekend. The last two highest classification state champions that were not seniors when they won are Lukas Verzbicas and Jorge Torres... both were national champions their senior year:eyes: Methner joins that company
