Jaimie Robinson: The initial ingredient to being a successful athlete is talent. If you don't have it the chances of being great is slim. But on the other hand talent means absolutely nothing if you don't put in the work. To be the best you must outwork everyone in your sight and out of it. This is what Ms. Robinson her senior year for Homewood-Flossmoor. We dubbed her "The Jaimie" because of willingness to dominate whatever event she was placed in. Robinson would go on to win state titles in the 200, LJ, TJ. State all-time leader all conditions and legal in the TJ (44-4 nwi/43-10.5)- national titles in the TJ and undefeated along with a silver medal at Pan-Am Games in Peru; school record in the 100, 200, and LJ. Robinson ran on some blazing relays as well during her senior season.
