The historic Henry Crown Field House will host the 64th Annual Ted Haydon Holiday Classic

Time Schedule / Order of Events
- Building will open at 8 AM
- Pole Vault warmup begins at 10:00 AM. Starting height: W:8', M:11'
- 60m dash and hurdle trials will begin at 11:00 AM
- The rest of the running events will begin at 12:30 PM with the 4x200 relay(W). Thereafter, events will run on a rolling time schedule in the order listed.
- The meet is expected to finish at about 5:30 PM
The meet is expected to the usual "ice breaker" opener for a lot of kids in the Chicagoland area... key figures below:
John Meyer (Sr., Lockport) defending 3A shot put state champion and IL #1 all time with a whopping 67-2 heave. Meyer is the #3 returner in the country and a first team All-American
Romell Clark (Sr., Chicago Dunbar)- Last year's winner in the 60m is back and ready to add to his all-state status
Sarah Olojo (Sr., Chicago Lane Tech)- The #7 returner in the triple jump has a personal best of 38-6.5
Chante Johnson (Sr., Thornwood)- For 2A standout has now moved over to 3A Thornwood. Johnson, a rising triple jumper, has leaped over 37 feet indoors and outdoors. She will contest the 60/200/LJ.
Jayla Campbell (Jr., Rich Central)- One of the top and upcoming track and field athletes is excited to break the rust off in the LJ, 200/400. Campbell is also one of the top triple jumpers in the state.
Zakiya Johnson (Jr., Chicago Kenwood)- As a sophomore Johnson ran one of the top underclassmen 400m times in the state.
Josh Bridges (Jr., Homewood-Flossmoor)- As part of the state championship 4x1 in 3A and sprint duo with Seun Adeyiga, watch for devastating results on Saturday.
Jesuseun Adeyiga "Seun" (Jr., Homewood-Flossmoor)- Expect to see fast times from one of the top returning juniors in the state.
Taylor Wright (Jr., Lincoln-Way East)- An emerging sprinter who has an opportunity to do big things this season state wide.
Sam Rivera (Jr. Chicago Whitney Young)- Ran 4:18 for 1600m as a sophomore last season.
Geremiah Lawson (Jr., Plainfield Central)- The state's top returning long jumper has a personal best of 23-8.5
Josie Held (Sr., Mt. Zion)- The 2A runner up in the girls pole vault is also the #2 returner in the state. Look for Held to be above the 13-foot mark this season.
