Comments: The Vikings moved back on top of the rankings as they ventured to E. St. Louis for the annual Jackie Joyner Kersee Relays. Though they finished third and second among Illinois teams, Homewood-Flossmoor did not field individuals in many events. National elite jumps performer senior Jaimie Robinson played the "relay" role which produced two IL #1's (4x1, 4x2). The host Flyerettes gets kudo points for performing like a full invitational team. Scoring 127 points does mean something and they proved so from a power ranking standpoint including a new state best in the 4x400 relay. Last week's top team Naperville North was idle.
