Although Dajour Miles barely ran a step for her now former high school Waubonsie Valley located in Aurora, the sprint phenom was the most feared athlete in 2016. Miles entered the 2015-16 school with times that would have ranked her among the elite of the state had her middle school marks been eligible. She ran 55.42 and 24.78- IL #1 and #2 indoors respectively. In fact, "Cinnamon's" outdoor 400m time of 54.14 would have been in the top 10 all-time in Illinois annals. All was not lost in 2016. As a member of the Aurora Flyers Track Club, Miles ran astounding times: 53.98, 24.14, 12.17 and picked up several national AAU titles. These marks would have no doubt been good enough to compete for state titles if not defeat whoever was in her way. Dajour has now moved on to West Aurora High School where she plays basketball and will compete in track and field.
