Illinois Kids Going For Broke At Brooks PR Invitational

Josh Eiker (Sr., Galesburg)- Eiker is considered a veteran here entering his second Brooks PR competition. Last year it was a third place medal that swung around Eiker's neck. Although the Brooks experience was a huge accomplishment, it came on the fact that it was a very long year for Eiker. "I was a bit tired and trying to hang on," he said shortly after the race. Eiker was not "raced" as much this season perhaps to be more preserved for this competition and college. Eiker will enter the U of Illinois with a lifetime best of 10.34.
