Kahmari Montgomery (Fr., U of Missouri/Plainfield Central)
This kid is running like a seasoned veteran. Some thought he would need a season or two to get up to speed among the nation's elite. But no he came for his opponents jugular immediately by winning the Southeastern Conference Indoor title in 45.78. Montgomery did not stop there. He blazed a tough SEC Outdoor Championship field in the 400 final with a big personal best 45.13 which currently ranks #2 in all of college track and field.

David Timlin (Jr., Indiana State University/Chicago Lane Tech)- Timlin was just a 4:18 miler out of high school, but he was a determined individual with a winning attitude after anchoring his 2012 mates to a state title in the 4x800 relay. Timlin has evolved as a tough and smart miler at the next level. He ran 4:00.52 indoors and 3:42.22 (1500) in last year's national semi-final. He will be vying for first team All-American honors this time around. The field is strong and it will take his very best to make into Saturday.

Erik Peterson (Jr., Butler University/Barrington HS)- Peterson has come into his own within the past year or so starting with cross country when he copped All-American honors . On the track, Peterson has run an outstanding 28:26 personal best in 2015. He has stayed consistent and gone under 29:00 this year. He will certainly vie for a top five spot at NCAA's.
Ryan Rutherford (Sr., Illinois State University/Normal University HS)- Although he was absent of last fall's cross country scene, Rutherford spent his time in the books and training for his last outdoor season. The Missouri Valley Conference champion appears to be in prime form after finishing 10th at the Kansas West Regional. 28:41 is his personal best and he could possibly topped that with a good finish in Eugene.

Sam Bransby (Naperville Central HS) has rightfully earned a spot on a strong Husker quartet and hopefully that will means another school record.

Julian Harvey (Jr., SIU-Edwardsville/Edwardsville HS) has accomplished quite a bit since his days competing at Edwardsville HS. This trip could be a learning experience or it could go very well for Harvey who has jumped 25-11.5 (+2.1)
Will Williams (So., Texas A&M University/Iowa Western CC/Bloom Township HS) was a late bloomer to the track and field scene in that he came out during his senior year according to his former prep coach Andy Schmitt. Williams has taken off literally as an Aggie topping off 26-8. At any given moment Williams could be in the mix as a title threat.
