William Session Workout Wednesday

The form, speed, determination, and never quit effort has made William Session a champion (Colin Boyle photo)

You might as well get used to hearing his name and seeing his glamour like an iconic pop star. That's right William Session is here for the 10-count in 2016. The Belleville East superstar in the making is already cutting up and it's still December. At last weekend's Ted Haydon Indoor Classic, Session blazed a US #2 7.91 for 60HH. Even if he does not improve for the rest of the yet to be started indoor track and field season, his mark would still be good for the tenth fastest time in the country according to last year's marks. But don't count on the defending 3A state 110HH champion to sit back and chill. No, Session is working harder than ever before to achieve some amazing goals. If all goes well for William (son of the late great Rodney Session from E. St. Louis Sr. fame), he will be ready to smash personal bests 13.91/38.17/53.46.

Prior the U of Chicago meet Session worked out for approximately an hour with his Trackmyspeed Track Club mates. In the footage below is portions of the workout, race, and interview. Enjoy!
