Hocker glides across the Shelbyville Semi-State Course

Hocker competes in easily the hardest regionals and semi-states in the state of Indiana but that doesn't seem to stop him from coming out on top each time, well very close to the top spot. Out of the 11 races he took apart in last year, he took 1st 8 times. He beat Gabe Fendel at the highly popular Flashrock Invitational by almost 4 seconds! He holds a 15:21 PR from last season at Semi-state, putting him as the #2 returner. He was 3rd at the Flashes Showcase in a tough battle for 2nd place. Then this June he placed 4th in the 1600 in a race that was less than half a second difference between 2nd and 4th. He is easily the top Junior going into the 2017 season. Watch for him to make a jump into the top 5 at state this October.
