Prevailing thoughts: Sprints, hurdles, and relays are the separating factors between St. Joseph Ogden and the rest of the 1A field. Strong showings at Bloomington and Charleston helped make the Lady Spartans case. Also at Charleston was the #2 team in St. Thomas More, in fact they competed in three meets in an eight day span. The Sabres look strong in the the field and distance events. Welcome to the party Litchfield, the Lady Panthers have been very strong in the relays and distance events, they enter the top 5. Rounding out the top 5 are the Wildcats of (Chicago) Luther North and their sprint squad, and Pleasant Plains who rely heavily on relays.
