4:30 Start Long Jump, Triple Jump, Shot and Discus Throws

4:45 Start High Jump and Pole Vault

PRELIMINARIES & FINALS

A. Long Jump - 4:30 Flight 1. 3 preliminary trials; top 10 to finals. Flight 2 follows

B. Triple Jump - 4:30 Flight 1. Same as long jump.

C. Discus - 3 flights. Flight 1, 2, 3; top 10 to finals

D. Shot Put - 3 flights. Opposite of discus

E. High Jump (start 5'7 - 2" till 6'3, then 1") 1 Flight

F. Pole Vault (9'3" till 13'3, then 13 7" and by 3) 1 Flight

6:00 P.M. FINALS FOR ALL RUNNING EVENTS BEGIN (Time Schedule is Approximate)

6:15 Frosh-Soph Medley - 3 heats (200-200-400-800, yellow exchanges)

6:30 MileSplit 3200 M Relay - 2 heats (alleys) green (3 scratches, go 1 heat)

6:50 400 M Relay - 3 heats (yellow exchanges)

7:00 3200 M Run - Heat 2 (alleys) green

7:10 110 M High Hurdles 5 Heats (Seeded-Blue Marks)

7:25 100 M Dash - 5 Heats (Seeded)

7:35 Big Boy Hundred (must weigh 200lbs) Heats depends on who makes weight

7:45 800 M Dash - 4 heats (alleys)

8:00 800 M Relay - 3 heats (black l & 2, yellow 3) Lane all way

8:15 400 M Dash - 5 heats (yellow, lanes all way)

8:25 300 M Intermediate Hurdles - 5 heats (green stagger)

8:40 1600 M Run - 3 heats (alleys) green

9:00 200 M Dash - 5 Heats (Seeded green staggers)

9:10 1600 M Relay - 3 heats (3 turn stagger) blue

*****SCORING: Individual Points: 10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1 (Relay Points will be doubled) 20-16-12-10-8-6-4-2*****

AWARDS: Medals for 1st thru 8th. Team plaques for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place.

CHAMPION SHIRTS: Champions in event can purchase souvenir Champion T-Shirts for 1st place finishes. Have athletes report

to the press box for a ticket. The shirts are only for champions and are purchased for $15 with the ticket. This includes Relays.

The shirts are not freethey are $15 each.

WANNER-KNIGHT INVITE SHIRTS: Can be purchased at or by the Concession stand for $15.

ADULT WORKERS: Each school must provide 2 adult workers, send email by 4/26/16 to mike.stokes@d214.org.

ADMISSION: $4.00 Adults, $2.00 Students with ID. Only students with track uniforms will be admitted free.

PROGRAMS: Will be sold at gate for $1.00

RESULTS: We will have meet results announced and online. A copy will be sent the next day.

SCRATCHES & SUBSTITUTIONS: Please make scratches in the storage garage as you enter track when you arrive.

Substitutions may be made for sick or injured athletes with a letter from your school administrator. No changes will be made after

4:30 p.m.

RELAY CARDS: Relay cards should will not be used. Fill out the Relay sheet and turn in at coaches meeting(update in

Pressbox).

RULES: All National Federation rules will be followed.

UNIFORMS: IHSA guidelines will be strictly enforced.

ONE-MINUTE LIMITATIONS - will be used in all field events. A contestant shall be charged with an unsuccessful attempt if he

does not complete his trial or indicate passing it within one minute after name is called.

TEN-MINUTE BETWEEN TRIALS: a competitor excused to compete in another event shall have a maximum of ten minutes

between trials.

PROHIBITED: No grills or pets.
