14. Dillon Blake (Jr., Mundelein) [NR]
Im shocked that Blake was an all-stater with how he started off his first mile. He sat in 48th place running a 4:46. He realized this wasn't where he needed to be so started doing hard work in the second mile running a 4:56 and moving into 18th place. He finished with another hard last mile, another 4:56, and ended up taking 12th place with a 14:38. I think that if Blake was in a top 15 spot through the first mile he could have easily been top 10 in the race.
