Distance standouts Allison Jacobsen and Renee Wellman spent the past four years as teammates for North Central High School. Now the duo will spend another four years together when they head to Evanston, Illinois to run for Northwestern University. Both played an instrumental part in the team's state championship run and postseason prowess.
Renee Wellman
Wellman finished first at Semi-State and 20th at the Indiana State Cross Country Meet. She placed 8th at Nike Midwest and capped off her senior season with a 59th place showing at Nike Nationals in Portland, Oregon.

Allison Jacobsen
Jacobsen is another talented member of the Carmel cross country team. She placed 18th at the Indiana State Cross Country Championship and a 105th place at Nike Nationals. During track season last year she placed sixth in the 3200 with a personal best time of 11:21.44
