The Cardinals' DMR squad of Kala Bingham (1,200-meters), Lauren Brightmore (400-meters), Krista Cota (800-meters) and Amanda Laesch (1,600-meters) overcame an early deficit to place seventh, clocking a 12:04.40 and earning All-America honors.

Sheila Walsh placed second in her heat of the 400-meter dash, crossing the tape in 57.68. Her time was good for ninth place, one position shy of advancing to Saturday's finals, missing the cut by three-hundredths of a second.

Kayla Murphy finished fourth in her heat in the 55-meter dash preliminaries and tied for 10th overall, clocking a time of 7.26 seconds.
