The Aurora University Spartan men's and women's indoor track and field teams continued their strong showings in the 2011 season, this time finishing second of 10 teams in the men's meet and fourth of 10 teams in the women's meet at the University of Chicago Margaret Bradley Invitational.
On the men's side, freshman T.J. Jackson won the 200 meter dash with a school record time of 22.82 and finished sixth in the 55 meter dash with a time of 6.76, freshman

In the women's portion of the meet, senior
Cait Hartman won the triple jump with a jump of 10.62 meters; sophomore
Ainsley Richards finished second in the long jump with a school record jump of 5.12 meters; freshman
Krystle Eskridge finished fifth in the 800 meter run with a school record time of 2:26.42. The 4x400 meter relay team of
Krystle Eskridge,
Amber Walker,
Brittany Paller and
Ashley Mayer finished fourth with a school record time of 4:24.24.
Next action for the Spartan men's and women's indoor track and field team comes on
Saturday, February 26, 2011 when they travel to the Northern Athletics Conference Indoor Championships. Meet time is set for 10:00 a.m. at North Central College in Naperville, Ill.
