Paller named Northern Athletics Conference Student-Athlete of the Week

Paller became the third AU track and field member in four weeks to win the NAC award

Aurora University Spartan women's indoor track and field runner Brittany Paller (Moline, Ill./Moline H.S.) was named Northern Athletics Conference Student-Athlete of the Week for the week ending February 13, 2011. 

Competing in the indoor portion of the Spartans' schedule at the 2011 Chicagoland Indoor Championships, Paller ran her fastest personal mile ever at a time of 5:27.46, as well as broke the AU record in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:28.09. Both times put her at the top of the NAC this season in each indoor category.

Next action for Paller and the Spartan women's track and field team comes on Saturday, February 19, 2011, when they travel to the University of Chicago Margaret Bradley Invitational. Meet time is set for 11:00 a.m. in Chicago, Ill.
