PEORIA, Ill. - Eight Bradley University student-athletes representing four sports earned their undergraduate degrees during the school's annual Mid-Year Commencement Saturday morning at Renaissance Coliseum, a ceremony that included the keynote address from Bradley Athletics Hall of Fame member and current Los Angeles Dodgers broadcaster Charley Steiner.
Saturday's ceremony at Renaissance Coliseum was the first in Bradley University's new, $50 million on-campus arena.
The eight graduating student-athletes included two baseball players, two soccer players, one women's cross country and track runner and three men's tennis players. Headlining the group, men's tennis player Milos Romic, who earned both Missouri Valley Conference All-Select Team and Scholar-Athlete Team honors last spring, graduated Magna Cum Laude with his degree in finance.
