The Spartan women's cross country team brought home a third place finish at the 2010 Concordia University Wisconsin Falcon Invite on Saturday afternoon in Mequon, Wis.

The Spartans were led by freshman Krystle Eskridge, who finished ninth with a time of 24:59. Joining Eskridge in leading AU to the third place finish were sophomore Briana Deckard (12th - 25:03), freshman Anna Perkowski (21st - 26:04), freshman Allie Furman (26th - 26:19) and freshman Amber Walker (27th - 26:20). Freshman Karen Greyer did not factor into the team scoring but brought home a 33rd place with a time of 26:43 and junior Erin Cinto finished 47th with a time of 27:48.

Next action for the Spartan women's cross country team comes on Friday, September 24, 2010 when they travel to the Brisman Lundeen Invitational at Augustana College. Meet time is set for 4:45 p.m. in Rock Island, Ill.
