The seventh annual AU Spartan Cross Country Classic was run on Friday, September 10, 2010 with 12 teams participating in the women's race. The AU women finished sixth in the 6k run with a team score of 199.

AU junior Brittany Paller was the top Spartan finisher in 36th place with a time of 25:29.9 and freshman Krystle Eskridge, competing in her first collegiate race, finished 39th with a time of 25:34.9.

Joining the Spartan women with strong finishes were sophomore Briana Deckard (57th - 26:09.7), freshman Anna Perkowski (66th - 26:55.4), freshman Karen Greyer (79th - 27:32.1), freshman Alyssa Furman (91st - 28:07.6), senior Anna Kalnes (102nd - 28:44.6) and freshman Amber Walker (103rd - 28:45.2).

The Spartan women can be seen in action again on Saturday, September 18, 2010 when they travel to the Concordia University Wisconsin Falcon Invitational. Meet time is set for 10:00 a.m. in Mequon, Wis.
