CHARLESTON, Ill. - Senior Erika Sepich (Canton, Ill./Canton H.S.) finished third in the women's javelin throw as Bradley's only competitor Friday at the Big Blue Classic hosted by Eastern Illinois University. Sepich threw a distance of 31.69 meters, 1.02 meters behind Eastern Illinois' Jaimee Phegley (32.71m). Illinois State's Leigh Petranoff won the event with a throw of 45.03 meters.

The Big Blue Classic will continue Saturday at 10:30 a.m. with a full slate of running and field events.
