

A tremendous mix of preseason indoor and field meets dot the Dr. Conrad Worrill Track & Field Center. MileSplit Illinois offers a select registration slate in December and January.
Once again, this meet will be the leadoff open track and field meet for the 2026 indoor track and field season. Join us on Saturday, December 6.
Key entries: The Milwaukee Speed Academy Track Club out of Wisconsin begins its annual trek to the far south side of Chicago with a boatload of talent. Among the flock is renowned speedster Kyenret Rinkam, who hails from Brookfield Central, WI. The junior star will be featured in the 60m, where she scorched the track in 7.46. Opposing her will be junior Nadia Ford of Ft. Wayne Carroll HS in Indiana. Ford is the reigning queen of Hoosierland sprints, clocking 7.46, 11.68, and 23.83.
On the boys' side, watch for Daniel Robinson, who is a senior standout at Naperville Neuqua Valley HS in Illinois. Last year, Robinson ran 6.89 for the short dash. He is also one of the best returning long jumpers in the state.
The well-established event, in its sixth edition, is expected to be the best yet. Of course, the Olympic champion and namesake will be on site, with her gracious smile and unmatched hospitality for the athletes.

Boys: Jay Tally (Sr., Homestead, WI)- The Badger state big class 800m champ, clocked 1:51.21, is entered and ready to show off his early-season fitness.
Mikel Smoot (Sr., Merriville, IN)- State championship finalist who ran a lifetime best of 48.86.
Daniel Robinson will be back at it again, on the track and in the long jump pit!
Standout distance runner Bryce Counihan (Sr., Lincoln-Way Central, IL) is entered in the 1600m with a solid mark of 4:19.55.
Benjamin Dean (Jr., Eastbrook Academy, WI)- A 200m specialist who ran a lifetime best of 21.58 last season.
Girls: Keira Jenke (Sr., Lisle Benet Academy; IL) enjoyed a bounce-back cross country season, which saw her earn the last all-state medal in Class 3A. Jenke will be competing in her signature event, the 800 meters, in which she clocked a personal best 2:14.32. She may add the 1600 meters to her plate later in the competition.
Kyenret Rinkam will continue to get reps in the short sprints arena.

The annual invite that specializes in "off events" like the 300, 600, and 1000 meters. The National 600m record was set here in 2002. So it's safe to say fast runners like the Gately track!
Boys-
Owen Horeni (Sr., Yorkville, IL)- After recently placing third in the 3A state cross country championship with a blistering 14:07 (3m), he is one of the state's and nation's elite status middle-distance runners, coming in with personal bests: 1600m (4:14.91), 800m (1:51.87), and 400m (49.77). Horeni will be a key figure in the 600m, returning with the US#5 time of 1:21.19.
Gabriel Olson (Sr., Oak Creek, WI/Milwaukee Speed Academy)- One of the Badger state's top 100/200/400m speedsters, Olson clocked 10.52/21.60/47.88- placing second in the state championship in the latter.
Girls-
Addyson Abner (Sr., Valley View HS/TruSpeed Athletics, OH)- From the Buckeye state, is one of the nation's top returning 800-meter runners, possessing a personal best of 2:07.46 and placing runner-up in last summer's U20 Championship. Addy will be competing in the 600m.
Marley Scoggins (Sr., Calabasas, CA/Code Black Elite)- Hailing from sunny California and bringing the heat with 11.59 and 23.59w PBs. Scoggins crushed her limited indoor campaign, topping the 60m in 7.46.
Olivia Kirk (Sr., Calabasas, CA/Code Black Elite)- One of the nation's returning elite burners, Kirk has run 11.63 and 23.80w. She was also an integral part of the state's #3 4x100m relay that blazed a 45.61.
Malia Rainey (Jr., Calabasas, CA/Code Black Elite)- It will continue to rain fast times on the Misfits parade with the addition of another Cali speed demon, who is a 4x All-American. Rainey clocked 11.57 and 23.88 on the oval. She will be looking to improve her 7.65 undercover mark in limited attempts.
Emily Stecky (Jr., Chicago Depaul College Prep)- The state's top returning 800m runner (2:09.31) has enlisted in the mile, where she has a personal best under 5:00. Expect to see Stecky become one of the nation's elite performers in an event that she dabbled in last year.
Ali Londrigan (Jr., Chatham-Glenwood, IL)- After performing well on one of the state's top cross country programs, Londrigan will be out to improve on her impressive time in the mile (4:54.49).
Emaline Foster (So., Crystal Lake Prairie Ridge, IL)- One of the state's best harriers suffered a heartbreaking finish at the IL 2A State XC Championship. Foster will be back with a vengeance, and it so happens will be in the Tracksmith Mile. She should be well under her personal best of 5:02. Watch out, world!
