Meet day info: It is expected to be sunny and moderate, with a high of 64 degrees.
Quick meet overview: We traverse between field and track events. This looks to be one of the largest Armstrong Invites in history.
Field-
Illinois Indoor Champions high jump champion Machi Nelson (Sr., Proviso West) will highlight a solid field that includes Matt Pluff (Sr., Freeburg) and Logic West (Sr., Chicago Kenwood). We could see a clearance of 6'8 or better.
Look for freshman phenom Parker Owens of Edwardsville to do something big. The meet record of 15'9" that has stood since 1991 will be in jeopardy. A few days ago, Owens cleared 15-1 in a small meet and then asked the bar to be raised to the school record of 16'4.75." He has some serious goals for Saturday.

Track-
We could see fire in 4x100, 4x200, and 4x400 relays. Look for Kenwood to duel with the hosts and a few others and take down some meet records. Look for 41.75 and 3:17.1 to be in jeopardy.
Troy McLean (Sr., Belleville West) and Logic West (Sr., Kenwood) will battle in the 400. McLean is the defending 3A champion.
The 200 field is outstanding as Zion Morrison (So., Homewood-Flossmoor), Armond Boulware (Sr., Kenwood), Parrish Hartley Jr (Sr., Kenwood), and Omar Mims (Sr., Cahokia), is a former 3A champion.
The 3200 will feature four runners under 9:25. Raphael Greer (So., Marion), Thomas Czerwinski (Jr., Plainfield North), Quinn Davis Plainfield (Sr., Plainfield North), and Gabriel Greer (So., Marion). Patrick Clune (Sr., Naperville Central) adds some depth.
