The IHSA season kicks off for those in attendance at the venerable Proviso West High School barn. However, it's not an invitational or a quad meet, as billed in the description. This initial installment is more of an all-inclusive meet where coaches can see their inventory.
Who to watch for:
3A Co-#1 Oak Park River Forest will start with the deep roster, and those in attendance will get an opportunity to see some of their key pieces. Jumper extraordinaire senior Kwabena Osei-Yeboah is the defending state long jump champion. He will contest this along with the triple jump, in which he earned AAU All-American honors last summer.
Sprints-
The 60m will be hot with nearly a dozen sections on deck. Look at this section below! It may take a top-notch invite or a conference title bout to top this. Watch for lanes 3-7!
