FULL RETURNING LIST

=================

There will be plenty of opportunities to shine for some of the state's top returners. There is only one quarter-miler returner from last winter under 50 seconds. Let's take a quick look at some of the key two-lappers for indoor 2025.

Nolan Lamoureux (Sr., Lockport): Got everyone's attention last winter when he snapped off with a sizzling 1:21.73 in the 600m. It was like a wolf in sheep's clothing, later producing a 49.87 mark, the top returning time. Lamoureux would end up running 48.39 outdoors and earning a third-place medal at state. However, as good as that is, his future may be in the 800, running 1:54.55 in the off-season.

Logic West (Sr., Chicago Kenwood): One of the state's top high jumpers is also an integral part of the Broncos relays. He is also well-versed in the long sprint. Competing in just two races last year, logging a smooth 50.17.

Troy McLean (Sr., Belleville West): An unknown, running in just a few races last winter. McLean ran the 400m only time with a time of 51.39. Most fans know what happened during the outdoor season. If not, McLean broke 48 seconds in the early portion of the season and would end the calendar season as a state champion. His meet schedule is uncertain, but he will be the center of attention regardless.

Dontrell Young (So., Oswego): Enjoyed a complete calendar in the success boat as a freshman. This winter could be be huge for DJ as he propels to the top of the charts.

Edward Mason (Jr., Neuqua Valley): A big cog in the team's overall plans; otherwise, Mason would be a more significant force in this event. He still churned out a solid 50.59 last season.
