2025 MileSplit IL Girls Pole Vault Watch List

The great Mya Strahm is listed for 2025 but she graduated in December 2024. She is now at the University of Tennessee. So who is next? There is no clear-cut favorite or dominant pole vaulter like over the past seasons. There are some solid performers capable of some big clearances. Let's take a look at some key performers: 

Reese Wolfe (Sr., Chatham-Glenwood): Got off to a slow start during the indoor season but trusted the process, leading to a state title in 3A. Wolfe's all-time best is 13'0" from the outdoor season. Now, that we are back indoors, she has something to build on.

Mckena Miglorini (Sr., Lockport): A four-year starter who has improved significantly over the past three years to 12'8." The next stop will be 13 feet and a state title by the end of the school year.

Brooklyn Kondritz (Sr., Mt. Zion): One of the few full-time pole vaulters who is an above average open sprinter. Kondriz competed in the state 400m and missed the final by a spot. Speed is the name of the game for the PV and it's not a mystery that she was one of the best vaulters last year, taking ITT titles and a state title in the 2A classification.

Kamila Szczepanik (Sr., Naperville Neuqua Valley): A vaulter whose perseverance should have her name on it, tapping on the 12-foot door. There is a feeling that she is going to kick it down and move along much higher.

Evalina Bach (Sr., Roselle Lake Park): Already clearing a personal best 12'2" out of the early indoor gate, Bach is destined to be a force throughout the indoor season.
