Aledo (Mercer County) Sectional (Thursday, May 12)
Summary: Sherrard teammates Charlotte Frere (Sr) and Olivia Meskin (Jr) waged a very competitive battle in the DT, going 1-2 w/128'3" and 126'9.5"

Altamont Sectional (Wednesday, May 11)
Summary: star Grace Nelson wins three events and stays unbeaten in her career as she qualifies here: IL#3 300H (43.80), 200 (25.83), IL#7 100HH (14.52)

Beardstown Sectional (Friday, May 13)
Summary: One of the state's top discus throwers Olivia Campbell (Sr., Pittsfield) neared her PB w/134'3.75"

Bloomington Central Catholic Sectional (Wednesday, May 11)
Summary: Megan Becker (Sr., Bloomington CC) wins the 400 in 1:00.87; Taylor Jones (Sr., Downs Tri-Valley) leads five 100m qualifiers to state with 12.56.

Caitlin-Salt Fork Sectional (Friday, May 13)
Summary: Kate Ahmari (Jr., Urbana U High) wins the 3200 (11:36.05) and 1600 (5:18.07); Ella McFarland (So., Bismarck-Henning) clears 5'3'75" for the HJ title

Chicago Hope Academy Sectional (Thursday, May 12)
Summary: Chicago Hope wins three relays: 4x1, 4x2, 4x8, second in the 4x8

Duquoin Sectional (Thursday, May 12)
Summary: Olivia Phillips (Sr., Duquoin) wins the 800 in a classification best 2:16.65; Ahry Comer (So., Pope County) advances in three races: 800 (2:18.85),1600 & 3200; Grace Alongi (Sr., Duqoin) rolls the 400 in 1:00.48

El Paso-Gridley Sectional (Thursday, May 12)
Summary: Nakeita Kessling (Sr., Henry-Senanchwine) grabs the state lead in the long jump with a 19'6.75". She also took the victory in the 100 (12.83) and 400 (58.34); Aubrey Brinkman (Sr., Illini Bluffs) was the winner of the DT (125'0")

SummaryHannah Gibson (Fr., Carlinville) gets the victory in the DT 117'2"

Manlius Bureau Valley Sectional (Wednesday, May 11)
Summary: One of the state's best high jumpers Brooke Probst (Sr., Indian Creek) wins with a height of 5'6.25"

Nashville Sectional (Thursday, May 12)
Summary: Nashville runs classification #2's 49.79 and 1:46 to win the 4x100 and 4x200

Seneca Sectional (Thursday, May 12)
Summary: Carly Manchester (Sr., Elmhurst IC) sweeps the distance events: 3200, 1600, 800; Kiara Wesseh (So., Newark) won the high jump with IL#4 5'7"; the state's second-best discus thrower Faith Deering (Sr., Seneca) cruises with 128'1.50" effort.

Sullivan Sectional (Thursday, May 12)
Summary: #1 Tuscola rolls with their ace performers Alyssa Williams and Lia Patterson. Williams won the 100, 200, and qualified in the long jump. Patterson won the 100H (15.65), 300H (45.98), and second in the 200. They teamed up in the 4x200 and ran 1:47.01 to take the title.

Winnebago Sectional (Friday, May 13)
Summary: Weather conditions played a significant role here as the action was suspended Friday evening after the completion of the 100m. The host Winnebago racked up a significant amount of hardware, particularly in the distance events. The Indians won the 4x800, 1600 (Kaylee Woolery 5:15.91), and 800 (Grace Erb 2:16.65). The 'Bagos ran 4:07.48 in the 4x400 and it's good for second in the classification. Byron won the 4x200 in a class best 1:46.52; Avery Demo (Jr., Rockford Christian) won the 400 in 58.55.
