-Quiet as kept but Geneseo has mustered their forces together.  Junior Annie Wirth has the team's only classification leading marks which are in the high jump (5'6.25") and long jump (18'0.50")- 2nd in the classification 300H and fourth in the 100H. Her teammate senior Ali Rapps is third in both hurdles. However, the Maple Leafs are lurking in the top five of the 4x1, 4x2, and 4x4 relays. That will be key if they wish to repeat as state champions.

Kankakee will continue to be a major threat for a state title as they meander through the invitational portion of the season. The Kays have some major firepower in the sprint relays: IL#1 4x1 (48.47), 4x2 (1:42.60); second best time classification wise in the 4x4 (4:11.67). Individually, Neveah Lowe (Jr) and Naomi Bey-Osborne (Fr) will lead the way in the sprints. Na'Kyrah Cooks (So) is among the leaders in the horizontal jumps. Aniya Lewis (So) is second in the 400m behind Bey-Osborne.

Normal University is not a one-person wrecking crew despite the heroic efforts of its leader Anna Barr (Jr) who will be a factor in four events. The Pioneers have the top classification mark in the 4x4 (4:10.74), 4x1 (3rd- 49.84), and 4x2 (4th- 1:47.81). The distance runners are strong as proven this past weekend with Delaney Fitzgerald (Sr) dropping one of the top times in all of Illinois in the 3200 (10:41.66). Zoe Carter is third in the 1600 (5:15.32) and fifth in the 3200.
