-We have a new number one team and they are from the Windy City. DePaul College Prep took home a state title this past fall in cross country. It is their distance unit that is currently putting a hurting on the rest of the classification. Charlie Richardson and Mac Kittrell lead the way with assistance from their class-leading 4x800 relay and Ethan Castette.
Kankakee remains strong as their core athletes led by sophomore Jayon Morrow continue to pump out top performances in the 60 and 200m.
Marion remains in the fifth position with Urbana powering their way into the rankings after a strong showing from athletes such as Jackson Gilbert and the Tigers relay units. As we approach conference weekend look for teams to attempt to put together their best possible lineups during this championship portion of the indoor season.
