Niko Schultz (Sr., Plainfield South)
-This phenom made the national headlines when he became the first Illinois boy to break 1:20 in the 600m with a US#1 sizzling time 1:19.86. Schultz also dropped an indoor leading 800m in 1:54.41. He did not stop there, blazing the 400m in 49.23. He is perhaps the state's top 400/800m combo runner in several years, looking to push the barrier this spring. Schultz can also run a mean mile if given an opportunity. He ran a 4:28 in a team time trial during the cross country season. We look forward to seeing Niko strut his stuff during the outdoor season.
