MEET SCHEDULE/INFO

#ChicagoFinale

========

Aly Negovetich (Jr., Grant HS; Fox Lake IL)
Events: 1600m, 800m
Overview: Initially entered in the 3200m, Negovetich opted to enter in the 800m and 1600m and it could be her time to shine bright again. She will look to improve on her winning mile effort last weekend at the Cabin Fever Invite.

Jordyn Miller (Mundelein HS; Mundelein IL)

Events: 400m, 800m

Overview: Miller has been an indoor mainstay from the very beginning and looking at the current race combo that she is entered in, it's not surprising. Look for her to possibly pick up a personal best in the 800m since it will be the first race. Could we expect a double winner later and personal best in the two-lapper?

Mia Dansby (Metro TC/Brockton HS; Brockton, MA)

Events: 60m, 200m

Overview: A seasoned veteran who is new to the Gately scene from Massachusetts w. Dansby could be the one that will surprise and possibly bust one of the fastest marks of the season. She has competed in several big venues and high pressured situations over the past several years. Her 7.72 PB is something the competition should not overlook.

Lindsey Miller (Jr., Simeon HS; Chicago)

Events: 60m, 200m

Overview: One of the Public League's premier short sprinters will enter her first race of the season. It will be very interesting to see what type of shape Miller is in after not being on the scene since the summer.

Sophia McNerney (Jr., Downers Grove South HS; Downers Grove IL)

Event: 1600m

Overview: Why did we pick McNerney? Well, her seed time of 5:21 is very deceptive when you consider that when ran 10:48 over a month ago, she was almost faster en route (5:25). Also, she won the Morolake Akinosun Invite 800m in 2:18 which equates to a real fast time (in theory). McNerney is expected to be near the leader or above when the dust settles.
