MEET PROGRAM

MEET SCHEDULE/INFO

======================================================

Athletes To Watch:

CJ Shoaf (Sr., Mahomet-Seymour)
Events: High Jump, 60H
Overview: Listed in two events but the main one to watch will be the HJ where Shoaf is US#3 and will have an opportunity to scale over the magical 7-foot barrier. In the hurdles race, Shoaf is pretty stout as well. He will be heavily favored in a small field.

Kyle Burgoni (Sr., Tolono Unity/Vipers TC)
Events: 60m, 200m
Overview: With a better start we could see a sub 7.00 for the first time for Burgoni. In the 200, he sits in the #2 position in the state with an opportunity to go under 22.00. We will be watching closely.

Jacob Myers (Sr., Lake Zurich)
Events: 1600, 3200
Overview: Opened the season with a 4:17.74 (full mile) thriller at the Cabin Fever Invite, Myers is slated to run it again as well as the 3200. He could enter the outdoor season as a major figure to watch.

Brooks Harlan (Sr., Centralia)
Events: 1600m
Overview: Season debut for one of the most anticipated distance runners in a long time. Though he ran one out-of-season cross country race, Harlan has not officially competed in a track race in over a year. As we prep for the outdoor season, getting on the board with a solid time is really the main item. Anything else (like sub 4:20 would be a delight).

Kyle Clabough (Jr., Yorkville)

Event: Shot Put

Overview: Ranked #24 in the country, Clabough has an opportunity to move inside the 10-15 and connect on the 60-foot mark for the first time.
