Amalia, Lydia and Kora Malecek commited to the University of Illinois Friday afternoon. The three sisters from Onalaska will all run track and cross country at the Big 10 school. Check out some of their best high school performances below!
High School Highlights:
Amalia holds the 2019 state title in the 1600M, running a PR of 4:55.77 in the race.
Lydia raced a personal best of 2:13.43 to take second in the 800M at the 2019 state track meet.
Kora placed first in the 3200M at the 2019 state meet and holds a PR of 10:32.38. Later that year, she took the win at the WIAA State Cross Country Championships.
