It was still a packed and energetic house at Proviso West for the final event known as the "Showstopper." All six teams in the last section #3 better known as the fast section had seed times under 3:35. Lane Tech, Proviso West, Wheaton North, Rockford Christian, Lyons Township, and Thornwood had to better the penultimate mark by York which was 3:30.41.
