Outlook: It could be lean times this season with the stash in the vault a bit low. The top-five and seven of the nine scorers from last year's state championship have moved on. The anchor of the lot, Jasmine Mitchell, is starring on the next stage at Ole Miss- making an immediate impact on the mighty SEC.
What's left is Dior Nicholson (above photo) whose seasonal best is 41-10 at last year's state meet netted her sixth place. Nicholson will surely be motivated to stay atop of an emerging field led by Julie Reglewski, who is also a returning all-state performer.
