Outlook: Defending champion Marianne Mihas defects to 2A, leaving Gabby Alongi alone to fend for herself. Alongi is the fastest returner (2:15.26 at Festival of Miles) entering this season and runner-up in the state final. She will be pushing 2:10 along the journey.
Camp and Huston as the only other returners to have broken 2:20 entering this season. Huston was all-state last year, but Camp only entered in Harvest Christian's Relays, so she appears set to be in a position to score individually this year.
