2020 Class A Girls Pre-Season Relays Preview

4x200-
2019 State Champion: St. Joseph-Ogden (Danie Kelso, Atleigh Hamilton, Hailey Birt, Maclayne Taylor) 1:44.81
Key Teams: St. Joseph-Ogden, DuQuoin, Byron, Milledgeville, Nashville, Warrensburg-Latham, Seneca, Manlius (Bureau Valley)
Outlook: Each one of the key teams is only losing one senior so they will all be on a relatively equal playing field in 2020.

St. Joe-Ogden enjoyed a super 2019 season which culminated in a state title by the slimmest margin and classification best 1:44.81. The Spartans return three key legs, notably is the long jump ace Atleigh Hamilton.

DuQuoin, Byron, and Milledgeville stand out in the 4x100m as well as the 4x200m, which could point to being able to develop solid sprint relay runners.

DuQuoin won the team title in 2019 thanks to top-two finishes in all four relays, so they are likely to return just as strong and competitive in the 2020 season, especially considering they've only graduated one relay runner: Madison Davis.
