The Foot Locker Midwest Region represented well at last year in San Diego, with five girls in the top six at Nationals. Of those five, four are returning in 2019.

Leading the way is Glenbard West (IL) High School's Katelynne Hart. Although Hart did not win the Midwest Region meet, she ran the best at Nationals, placing second behind Marianapolis Prep's (CT) Sydney Masciarelli. Hart has been runner-up at Foot Locker Nationals the past two seasons.

The top returner from the region meet who wasn't that far behind Hart at nationals was Beavercreek's (OH) Taylor Ewert. Ewert was runner-up at the Midwest Region meet and finished fourth at the national meet. On the track this past spring, she defended her New Balance Nationals Outdoor 2K steeple title running a new PR of 6:33.61.

The lineup of ladies behind these two is also stacked. It includes Muskegon Western Michigan Christian's Abby VanderkooiLansing Catholic's (MI) Jaden Theis, and Math & Science Academy's (MN) Tierney Wolfgram.

Take a look below at the complete top returner lists.
