Outcome: The brand new Hope HS state of the art track and field facility was Christened with the first IHSA post-season championship meet. Right away Ava Parekh (Fr., Chicago Latin) responded on the Mondo surface with a blistering performance in the 3200m. Her splits were 5:07/5:20.

Outcome: The classification #1 team Duquoin got everyone they needed to Charleston. Among the lot are all four relays (two are class bests).

Gibson City (Melvin Sibley) Sectional-
Outcome: The state leader in the pole vault Windsor Roberts (So., Tri-Valley) punched her ticket to Charleston with a 12-6 effort.

Knoxville Sectional-
Outcome: The hosts won the sectional title and swept all four relays in the process.

Moweaqua (Central A&M) Sectional-
Outcome: Two of the state's elite all-around athletes Kenli Nettles (Jr., Arthur) and Daelin Switzer (Sr., Decatur St. Teresa) dueled in four events: 100H, 300H, HJ, and 200. Arthur got the best of Switzer despite both great athletes laying fire to the track... Ailey Mitchell (Jr., Shelbyville) won the 3200 and 1600.

Sparta Sectional-
Outcome: Nariah Parks (So., Belleville Althoff) and Janiya Collins (Sr., Madison) were the stories here. Parks won the 400 in 58.55 to take classification lead. She also beat Collins in the 200 who had earlier took gold in the 100.

St. Joseph-Ogden Sectional-
Outcome: Defending state champion won their sectional by a massive margin and will head to the state with a few pieces to work with. The Spartans will bring all four relays which legitimately have an opportunity to score big points.
