Pierre's thoughts: Things heated up at an early point in the season and we like it. Top teams have and will continue to show up in the same places for competition. Sometimes it is good to see how you stack up against the competition early so there are opportunities to get better before the next meet up. The teams at the top and their stars wasted no time displaying their talent, we wouldn't mind at all if that trend continues. One thing is for certain is the Flyerettes have opened the outdoor campaign in very good fashion. If Springfield Southeast wants another state title this season, it is going to go through the east side of town.
