The boys race saw Jesse Reiser of McHenry beat his pal and future Illini teammate Conant's Zach Dale 14:32-14:38... there are two stars of today: Jocelyn Long (Sr., Barrington) and Madeline Marasco (Sr., Schaumburg) were freshmen in this field. They would finish 20th and 67th respectively.
