Pierre's thoughts: The majority of the teams within this classification decided to pass on the Top Times meet in favor of rest or to get a jumpstart on their outdoor season. The flipping and flopping within the top five continues. Sorry Neuqua Valley, you may have to debut the music video another time outdoors, because Lyons Township gets the slight edge at #1 to bring the indoor season to a close. The top two teams have a similar make up, but the real difference is the indoor strength of LT's relays. The biggest movers after Top Times were Hoffman Estates and Plainfield North whose relays and sprinters look ready to move FAST as we head outdoors. Bloom Township has come on strong these last two weeks to pose as a threat in Charleston, as has Crete-Monee who gained some steam heading outdoors. Now the fun begins in 3A, we all know that the state meet scoring format differ from ours, many teams were without top point scorers indoors and the events in which they would score. Keep a close eye outdoors as coaches show some of their cards as to how they will challenge for a team title.
