The temperature inside the Illinois Wesleyan University Shirk Center began to rise during the transition of the 2A/3A class overlap. It is usually at this time when the 2A meet competition is wrapping up and the 3A field events competitors begin to warm up. It is also an influx of the fans and the intensity of what is about to come for many of the state's top athletes.
I embarked on writing about the meet wrap up a little differently. I previously did a Class A girls recap and moved on to other projects. In mid stream I felt I wanted to touch on the championships from a personal level. Enjoy!
