Being #1 is always a goal of the highly competitive athlete. Saying that you are #1 can sometimes be a tricky situation. And the word #1 in essence is a subjective term. We will attempt to clarify the top runners in the state in each classification down to #1. Our editor's rankings are their own beliefs and thoughts. We recently put up a sample of what is to come.
