15-16 Girls 1500m, 3K

Who: Katelynne Hart
When: 3K on Friday, 6:15 p.m. CT; 1500m on Sunday, 9 a.m. CT
Why: Check out Katelynne Hart! She ran 4:36 for 1500m as an 8th grader this year. She won the AAU 14 year old 1500m title last year. Word on the street is she is going to be a freshman at Glenbard West this fall. This means she will team up with #1 returning distance runner in IL Lindsey Payne. Hart also ran 3K in 9:52!!!

15-16 Girls 200m, 400m, 4x400m

Who: Dajour Miles
When: 200m Prelims on Friday, 3:30 p.m. CT; 200m Finals on Saturday, 9:45 a.m. CT; 400m Finals on Sunday, 10:30 a.m. CT; 4x400m relay Finals on Sunday, 2:15 p.m. CT
Why: Illinois' top overall sprinter who did not run for her high school team freshman year after a dispute with the high school coach. Her PRs are impressive marks of 11.9 for 100m, 24.10 for 200m and 54.08 for 400m were all set the summer before she began high school! Here is my story here

14-year-old Boys 100m, 200m

Who: Marcellus Moore
When: 200m Prelims on Friday, 3:30 p.m. CT; 200m Finals on Saturday, 9:45 a.m. CT; 100m Prelims on Saturday, 11:15 a.m. CT; 100m Finals on Sunday, 1:45 p.m. CT
Why: Marcellus Moore, an incoming freshman at Plainfield North High School, ran 10.98 for 100 and 22.98 200m at the USATF IL state association meet. He is entered in both events for AAU regional meet.
