The 10th Annual Chicago Public Schools Co-Ed Track and Field Championships produced polar opposite results when the official tallies were read aloud the Hanson Park Stadium speakers. The Whitney Young girls blitzed past Lane Tech for the second straight year scoring a whopping its largest margin of victory ever with 155 points. Meanwhile, it was the Morgan Park boys who squeezed past Whitney Young 97-94.
The frosh-soph titles were handed to Lane Tech boys and Taft girls who scored 115 and 97 points respectively.
