Anna Sophia, Curtis Gordon Shine In 1A Top Times Championship

There were quite a few outstanding performances from the boys and girls during the opening night of the Illinois Top Times. The Shirk Center on the campus of Illinois Wesleyan University was rocking most of the evening.

The girls were highlighted by Anna Sophia Keller (Jr., Effingham St. Anthony) winning efforts in the 800m and 1600m. The latter was a meet record. Kathleen "KD" Young (Jr., Warrensburg-Latham) took a part the competition in the shot put.

On the boys side Cory Landon could have stole the show when took both the 800 and 1600. But look at Kahlil Wassell (Jr., New Berlin) and his efforts in the 60, 200, and 400. Or the interesting double winner Curtis Gordon (Jr., Vandalia) in the pole vault and 60HH. And of course Jon Davis (Sr., Oakwood) has to be respected for his outstanding effort in the 3200m.
