Throwback Thursday: Cahokia 4x200m relay All-time Best

There has been a lot of great boys 4x200m relay teams over the course of the IHSA annals. E. St. Louis Sr., Belleville West, Chicago Dunbar, Schaumburg, and York have produced sizzling all-time marks that come to mind. Cahokia hit the record book a times, one most notably in 2007, when the Comanches cranked out a blazing 1:25.98. That squad was the first team in the metric era to break 1:26.00. The slightly long yard time (4x220y) 1:25.7 ran by E. St. Louis Sr. has been revered by historians as the best of all time. In 2015, the quartet of Marquis Murray (So.), Ja'mari Ward (Jr.), Chrishawn Crosby (Jr.), Keveion Akins (Sr.) set sail on supplanting their names in the all time record books with easy sectional and state prelim wins. In the final, it was the blistering 1:25.83 scorcher that electrified the crowd. Check it out below:
