Fighting Scots Invitational, February 12 - Complete Results

MONMOUTH, Ill. - Junior Shavantay Thomas was a two-time winner and three other Titans earned first place finishes as the Illinois Wesleyan indoor track teams competed in the Fighting Scots Invitational in Monmouth, Ill., on February 12.

No team scores were kept.

Thomas won the 55 meter dash with a time of 7.29 seconds and took the 400 with her time of 58.83 seconds.

Sophomore Lauren Rock got first in the 200 meter dash in 26.50 seconds and was second to Thomas in the 400 with a time of 59.66 seconds.

In the field events, junior Gaby Johnson was third in the high jump (5 feet-2 1/4 inches) and senior Kyla Motz got third in the shot put (41 feet-8 1/2 inches) and fourth in the weight throw (48 feet-10 1/4 inches).

For the men, junior Max Lustick won the mile race with his clocking of 4:17.34 and senior Darien West was first in the weight throw with a winning distance of 59 feet-9 inches.

Second place finishes were turned in by junior T.J. Luby in the 5,000 (15:26.69) and senior Alex Lambert in the pole vault (15 feet-9 inches), while senior Noah Dunham got third in the 400 (50.81 seconds).
