Complete Pentathlon Results, Feb. 4
BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - Junior
Amanda Kessel and sophomore Philip Johnson were the top women's and men's finishers for Illinois Wesleyan at the IWU Bob Keck Invitational pentathlon on Friday, Feb. 4 at the Shirk Center.
Kessel had 2,572 points and finished 10th while IWU's
Teresa Banks was 11th with 2,369 points. Melissa Savino of North Central was the women's pentathlon winner with 3,186 points.
Kessel's top event finish was a fourth place in the 800 meter run with a time of 2:37.59.
Johnson won the 1000 meter run with a time of 2:40.44 and earned a total of 2,765 points to finish 12th. Ben Harmon of Washington U. amassed 3,634 points to place first.

Keck Invitational will begin at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 5, as Illinois Wesleyan "Seniors' Day" will commence at 10:30 a.m.
