Dunham, Clemens Set Records in 600 at Monmouth

Monmouth Invitational Indoor Track Meet - Complete Results

MONMOUTH, Ill. - Senior Noah Dunham and sophomore Tara Clemens each set their gender's school record in the 600 meter run at the Monmouth Invitational Indoor Track Meet on Saturday, Jan. 22.

Dunham had a time of 1:22.65 in setting the men's record and Clemens clocked in at 1:35.40 for the new women's mark.

Senior Alex Lambert had an NCAA Division III provisional qualifying mark in the pole vault with his height of 15 feet-9 inches.

Other winners for the men were sophomore Kevin Kapolnek in the 800 (1:58.99), senior Joe Campbell in the 3000 (9:37.49), freshman Joey Pacione in the triple jump (44 feet-4 3/4 inches), and senior Darien West in the weight throw (60 feet-5 3/4 inches).

Junior Shavantay Thomas was a double winner for IWU, taking first in the 55 meter dash (7.38 seconds) and the 300 meter run (41.44 seconds).

Junior Lauren Alpert was the winner of the long jump (17 feet-11 3/4 inches) and senior Loren Biosca won the mile (5:25.95). The Titans took the top four spots in the 55 as Alpert got second while junior Caitlin Eskew was third and sophomore Olivia Semeria was fourth.

Illinois Wesleyan also got the top four places in the 300 as, after Thomas, junior Jessica Christy was second, followed by sophomore Jenna Loynachan and junior Brooke Bernardoni.
